World Model, Self Model, Other Model

In order for apps to better orient themselves to person, place, time, and situation it would be helpful to have models of the world, other people, and itself (Watson). A world model would have information about the world like "There are people in the world." There are animals in the world." "there are things in the world." and so on. A model of self would include things like "I am called Watson." "I am software." "I am not a person." and so on. A model of others would include information like "People get tired." "when people are tired they can get cranky." "People like positive reinforcement." "People most often have two legs." "People must eat food regularly." and many more. Including the psychology of humans. If Watson is to be a trusted advisor it has to know how to influence people. If has to know what will offend a particular person. It will need to maintain over time memories of past interactions with specific persons. Perhaps as many as six billion persons. (We hope.)
