JVM without harddisk

JVM runtime without hard disk won't help. I think at a minimum level some minimum harddisk have to be given for JVM instance to be shown to outside world similar to RAM. Can some thing be done about it.

Each runtime has a virtual disk with it. It is the location where cf push sends your application. However the storage is ephemeral. When you restart or redeploy your app that storage gets wiped. For more permanent storage use a storage service or a database service.
Harddisk is specific to that one instance while a service can be access by all instances
