Conversation Anti-spam

I need a way for Conversations to capture the IP of the user. And "kick" the user after 3 to 5 failed attempts for defaulting to the ramdon response or [anything_else] within to many minutes. Then, I need to be able to ban the user for 24 to 48 hours. Additionally, I don't want to go through the trouble of setting up a CDN and firewalling bot/"shadow clone" traffic. But, I would like to minimize the amount of irrelevant API calls dude to someone thinking it's a toy.

Hi Collin - This is currently doable in Watson Assistant if you have your own orchestration using a counter in dialog to determine when a user has hit anything_else more how ever number of times you sent, and a webhook that is called when that condition is met. The webhook can call a process that adds the end-user's IP address to a block list and at the beginning of every conversation you can use the webhook to call the process to determine if the user is currently on the block list. Since this forum is more for ideas about how products can be updated, I would recommend going here if you have additional questions on how to accomplish the above: https://community.ibm.com/community/user/watsonapps/home
