Self-signed certificate for Java Adapter using Mobile Foundation Service on Bluemix

Need ability to add "self-signed certificate" OR "Self-signed certificate with signing authority" for Java Adapter using Mobile Foundation Service on Bluemix. We have deployed a Java adapter via Bluemix successfully. When trying to communicate between adapter and backend server, we are getting an exception (SSL Handshake Exception). We contacted IBM support regarding the solution for this issue and they have suggested that we ask for this enhancement as this feature is currently not available for Java adapter (Case ID : CS0010512). We have purchased Mobile Foundation Service licence (Professional per-capacity plan). Could we please have this enhancement made as early as possible as we have a project deadline hampered due to this error.

Also, could you please let us know the estimated time and date of completion of the above request along with any financials involved, if any, for the same?
